Our Mission
To provide school age care programs with a province-wide network of community based support, and to improve the availability of quality, affordable school age care for Alberta’s families.
In support of our mission, SACDA has four primary objectives:
To provide professional networking opportunities for our members through monthly meetings, tours of centers, conferences, and our ‘Laugh & Learn’ networking series of workshops
To create a dialogue with other stakeholders so that we might raise awareness of the challenges being faced in our industry
To develop relationships with other professional organizations and work towards common goals
To stay abreast of current research findings and new, innovative approaches to child care.
