To provide school age care programs with a province-wide network of community based support, and to improve the availability of quality, affordable school age care for Alberta’s families.

In support of our mission, SACDA has four primary objectives:

  • To provide professional networking opportunities for our members through monthly meetings, tours of centers, conferences, and our ‘Laugh & Learn’ networking series of workshops
  • To create a dialogue with other stakeholders so that we might raise awareness of the challenges being faced in our industry
  • To develop relationships with other professional organizations and work towards common goals

  • To stay abreast of current research findings and new, innovative approaches to child care.
